How Billing Works
No meter anxiety, no fine print. Here's exactly how it adds up.
- The first on-site hour is a flat $100 — and honestly, most home and small-office jobs are finished within it.
- After the first hour, on-site time is billed in 15-minute blocks ($25 each), so you're never rounded up to a full hour for a five-minute overrun.
- Remote support has no minimum — a 15-minute fix is about $20, which makes it the cheapest and fastest way to handle a lot of issues.
- The $30 diagnostic is credited toward your repair if you move forward, so it's not an extra charge when you get the work done.
- Emergency and after-hours help (nights, weekends, holidays) is time-and-a-half — $150/hour. When you'd call after-hours.
- You always approve the cost before I start, and there are no contracts — you pay for the help you need, and that's it.
Flat-Rate Jobs
A couple of jobs are priced as one flat number instead of by the hour, so you know the cost before I start.
- 🛰️ Starlink installation — $300 flat. Obstruction survey, dish mounting, cable routing and weatherproofing, grounding, router and Wi-Fi setup, and testing. That's my labor; the Starlink kit and monthly service are paid to SpaceX directly. Full details →
Business IT Care Plans
For businesses that want always-on, predictable support instead of paying by the visit.
A monthly IT care plan gives your business proactive monitoring and maintenance, priority response, and a set block of support hours each month — tailored to your size and needs, so you get steady support and a predictable bill instead of surprise repair costs.
The four packages — Watchman, Guardian, Fortress and Ironclad — are priced in full on the managed IT pricing page, from $300 to $2,000 a month. Month-to-month like everything else here; a year up front earns two months free.
Just looking after the computers at the house? Home computer plans start at $25 a month.

Pricing FAQ
The questions I get asked most about what things cost.
How much does a service call cost?
On-site, it's $100 flat for the first hour — and most jobs are done inside that hour. After the first hour, time is billed in 15-minute blocks at $25 each, so you only pay for what you use. A $30 diagnostic applies but is credited toward your repair if you go ahead.
Do you offer remote support, and how much is it?
Yes. Remote support is $80 an hour, billed in 15-minute blocks with no minimum — so a quick fix can be as little as $20. It's perfect for software problems, email issues, and fast questions, and it's often the quickest way to get you going.
Is there a diagnostic or service fee?
There's a $30 diagnostic fee to find out what's wrong — but it's credited toward your repair if you move forward. So when you get the work done, it isn't an extra charge on top; it just comes off the bill.
Do you charge for travel?
Not in the Valdosta and Hahira area. For outlying towns like Quitman, Adel, Tifton, and Moultrie, travel is $0.60 per mile, round trip, to cover the drive there and back.
Do you require a contract?
No — never. You pay only for the help you need, and you always approve the cost before I start any work. Businesses can choose a monthly care plan for predictable, always-on support, but it's completely optional.
